LIFETIME MOVIE OF THE DAY

Today's wonderful cinematic treat is Devil In The Flesh. You cant go wrong with Rose McGowan as a crazed teen who kills her own mother and lusts after her English teacher.
My favorite part of the movie was when she takes the ultimate revenge on her abusive grandmother. She attacks Granny's face with her very own cane.

As Grandma pleads "have mercy on me," Rose gives her the look of death and coldly announces, "FUCK MERCY!"

• Thinking I would never grow up
• Playing in the bathtub
• Watching Speed Racer before school
• Thinking I'm invincible with my brothers
• Wrestling for shits and giggles
• Riding my bike like it was my own personal Rolls Royce

SCHOOL VACATION

I'M BACK!! I'M ALIVE!! I'M OFF FOR THE SUMMER BITCHES!!!!
OK where to start!! So much to talk about...I'll take it all in pieces and post it as I remember. But most importantly and HOTTTT of the presses:::

FREAKSHOW is finally out!!!

Here's my story as it unfolded:

I have anxiously been anticipating the release of Freakshow for MONTHS now. I knew the date of May 17th was quickly approaching. I had preordered 3 copies thinking they would be shipped out at the latest on the release date, and I would receive them just in time for my release from the den of hell. Summer reading was all planned out!! WOOTS!!

SO when the release date arrived I checked the status of my package and to my horror it had not been shipped out....for a whole week longer!!! *cries* I wasn't alone in my pain. Apparently many people have had issues getting their fingers on this book. So on my first day of freedom, I made the decision to go to Barnes & Noble and seek out a copy because FUCK IT I had waited long enough!!!

SO I make the trek to the B&N...ready to make a scene if they didn't have it in the store. When I walked in, I expected to see a huge display, with a cardboard, life size image of James St. James. I didn't. I walked thru the new release section looking for the now very familiar pink...nothing. SO i made my way thru the maze of books to the teen section and followed along alphabetically until I saw the J's....then just as I expected...sun beams shot down and lit the way as a chorus of angels rang out...THERE IT WAS!! The lone copy of FREAKSHOW. I was soooooo happy to see it that I took a picture of it on the shelf before I allowed myself to touch it

Then I grabbed it and ran to the checkout. All I wanted to do was get home so I could read read read!!! So I did...I got home and what do you think I found waiting for me at my door?? You guessed it...an Amazon.com box filled with 3 copies of Freakshow. But I was just too excited to be annoyed. :)

I promptly opened the book and began reading...3 pages in I was in stitches laughing so hard. I'm still reading so I'll wait till I finish to give a proper review. But I will say this...if you have not already purchased your copy...GOOOOO NOOOOWWW!! Run like the wind!!! Shove over your grandma to get to it...you wont regret it!!!
